Just spotted these deliciously dark photographs from female photographer Ellen Rogers. Her aesthetic is brooding and ominous and she recreates a vintage look in her shots using Super8 and layering techniques. The results are heavily textured, surreal narratives – dark, dreamy and refreshing. Some of the shots appear menacing…the witching hour caught on camera, and then some are just beautiful.
