Some of you may be aware of the Faye Dinsmore Best Irish Blogger competition (ahem…) that has been running for the past few weeks.
The WWIWT team have been haranguing, harassing, hassling and hustling all our readers and friends our there for support in the voting. Well, we didn’t win, but we came a very close second to the wonderful Glamrocksluna (fellow Kildare headbangers) and that was completely and utterly down to the outstanding goodwill of you guys. AW SHUCKS. Seriously, it was an absolute rollercoaster – lots of tantrums and tiaras, lots of blood, sweat and tears and Oscar speeches may or may not have been prepared. This was buffered massively by all the peeps that hopped aboard the good ship WWIWT. We were completely honoured and touched and overwhelmed. We’re gonna keep chugging on and have got all sorts of mischievous plans lined up for the rest of the year. We were thinking about throwing a party to say thanks for the support; but then we realised we didn’t have any money. We were going to bake cakes; but we realised we can’t cook. We were going to build a placard; but we realised sometimes we don’t spell good sometiimes. So all our thanks will hopefully be summed up through this: (a little gift from us to you)
