After my rather unpleasant start to the shopping new year, I decided to take myself off the High Street and onto the Internet.
I couldn’t face a trip into town again to face the dreaded sale rails but with a long hard January ahead and a small bit of Christmas present money burning a hole in my pocket – I decided to go online.
I was randomly googling and decided to head to ASOS. The sale was vast and I was scared so I decided to re-visit old territory – the ASOS black range. Jen and I had lusted long and hard over this back in Autumn but with pieces ranging from £100 – £250 we had lusted in vain.
However my luck was in on this occasion – maybe the shopping gods were smiling on me after my previous disaster shopping day out and I picked up this amazing mauve and black backless body con dress.
The picture doesnt even do the embellisment justice and at £150 down to £39 I was laughing.
Of course the intoxication of picking up a bargain then completely went to my head and I started adding dresses to my cart willy nilly. Thankfully for some reason most of these could not be shipped to Ireland so my already depleted bank account was saved somewhat. This dress however was there in my size for £29.
By the by I wouldn’t call myself Petite but settle for plain old fashioned short.
At this stage my common sense returned or my credit card melted. The latter being more likely and I stepped away from my computer. However with a million friends after getting engaged I have my eye on wedding outfits and I am contemplating this Maxi.
Please leave copious comments telling me why it would be foolish not to purchase this fabulous dress reduced from £120 to £41. ANY EXCUSE will do.
Finally I want these. No reason. No event. I own several other pairs of boots but I want Want WANT them.
Maybe the money fairy might visit some day soon……….
