Friday Flash Lust

Friday Flash Lust

It’s the best day of the week.  The weekend is looming and there are plenty of plans to be made.

But firstly down to business and the fashion frippery we will be buying if our money ship comes in.

Rachel is continuing her love affair with the playsuit and is after this little navy number from River Island

I can see it worn with tights and heels for the spring then whip and the gladiator sandals for the summer.  The playsuit that keeps on giving.

She is also trying to cope with the current inclement Irish weather and has her eye on this raincoat also from River Island.

Aideen spied this fabulous Vivenne Westwood pants on Rosemary McCabes blog and to quote the lady herself:

“I need these trousers. I think they’re mental in the best possible way. And I did a count of how many grey tops I currently own. Nine! That’s a lot of ‘plain’ that I can team up with these bad boys.

My sister informs me that these are the kind of trousers I will look back on in years to come in photos and think WHY Aideen, WHY?

Bring it on I say!”

I am torn between Aideen and her sister but am strangely hypnotised by them and want to see Aideen working them on a Saturday night.

Jennie is having a serious Kat Maconie moment.  Kat Maconie is a shoe designer and has just landed in Dublin – currently found in Buffalo shoes on Wicklow Street (where Jennie may also be found pawing the window trying to get at these shoes).  I am digging them too.  Kat is a young ‘un – well at least an 80′s child like me – and after only launching her shoe range in 2009, is now stocked all over the UK, Japan, France, Italy etc etc.

I love her signature gold screw on each shoe just like Monsier Louboutin!

Jennie would take extreme measures to extricate the €300 necessary for any of these babies from her bank account.  She is not fussy but does have a nice little dressy number that would really suit the Ophelia’s (first shoe)

I am currently organising a little shin-dig for Jennies B-day.  We are talking a proper kids party – marshmallows, haribo, crispies  – and so I have neglected my fashion this week, but I will be back once I have recovered from the sugar coma many of the WWIWTers will be a victim of too after tonight!

Come meet the girls of the blog
