Just as I said in my handbag post, I loooove having a look at all my girlfriend’s dressing tables and bathroom cabinets.
Based on that premise, voila! My window-box of miscellany…

My assortment of make up brushes. I bought a load of brilliant Bobbi Brown brushes on ebay last year. There are a few Ruby and Millie/No. 7/Urban Decay/Mac ones in that vase too. A lot of my BB brushes are in their rolly-pouch in my wardrobe. I use those on the weekend! The ones I find I use everyday are kept in the vase for easy access.
Redken Rough Paste. Clay-like, good for the aul bed head effect.
Elnett hairspray. I always need to use spray on the days I don’t wash my bonce. Otherwise my hair just gets all flat and shite and needs putting in place!
James Brown mousse. I think it’s pretty good.
L’oreal Play Ball beach fizz. I used this when I my hair was a bit longer to give it texture. It’s very short now so I don’t use this so much.
Dr Hauschka Clarifying Toner. Everyone who knows me, is aware I swear by all of DH’s stuff.
Boot’s Coconut and Almond Body Lotion. Although this was super cheap, I probably won’t buy it again. It’s smells a bit synthetic-y. Kind of like the plastic toys we used to have when were kids!
My perfume, Creed Silver Mountain Water. Gorgeous smell but doesn’t really last the day. Because it costs and absolute shit-load, I’ll probably be looking for a different smell the next time I’m buying. Got this from the boyfriend at Christmas. Don’t think I could justify paying e145 myself!
Trilogy Rosehip facial Oil. I love this. I used to use the Dr Hauschka Oil before I moved onto this. Trilogy’s one is a little drier, sinks in faster and leaves my skin a bit more matte.
Kiehl’s Abyssine Eye Cream. It’s to prevent wrinkles. I have no idea if it’s working. How could you measure that? When I get wrinkles, should I have gotten them sooner if I hadn’t used this??
Body Shop Brazil Nut Body Butter. The only thing that really moistureizes my parched pins.
Wee vase and bowl to hold cotton buds and cotton wool. Both from Ikea.

In a rush to work every morning, I’ve managed to get the whole application down to 7 minutes. The eyeliner used to be the part that took me ages. Now I can apply it lightening fast!
I feel sad for people who don’t get the same enjoyment out of the whole grooming process the way I do. I love the look, feel and result from all my unguents, lotions, potions and makeup.
I do feel sad for my wallet however.
But in my defense, I don’t have ANYTHING I don’t use. I think really hard before I part with my cash, so anything I do buy, I actually use to the end of the bottle/can/pot/tub. There are no half empty bottles in this gaff! No sirree Bob.
