So the BAFTA tv awards were held last night. If one were to generalise, the sartorial prowess of TV celebs is weak when compared with their silver screen counterparts, is it not?
Let’s take a look at the acceptable dresses shall we? (I say acceptable because to be honest, there aren’t any gowns worth salivating over here)
Daisy Lowe in Craig Lawrence. Why do I like this? Maybe I'm blinded by Daisy-love, but there's something about I'm diggin!
Cat Deely, dress is a bit 2005 but we'll let her away with it cos the hair and makeup is flawless as usual!
Catherine Tate and child. Catherine's in a Jigsaw dress. Good on ya mrs, age appopriate and you've some set of pins on ya!
Zoe Ball. 'Nice' dress. Hate the cheapy lookin shoes.
Paddy and Rosanne Doherty from Big Fat Gypsy Wedding: Credit where credit's due! I think they scrubbed up well!
Louise Redknap. Report card reads: Acceptable. Could do better. Could do with covering up the boobies too, to be fair.
And now for the clangers…
Kara Tointon. It's a bit 90s Henry Street.
Gillian Anderson. Holy shit Scully, what's with the debs-wear?
The Only Way is Essex's Amy Childs. There. Are. No. Words.
Apart from Amy, it coulda been worse. Not good but not as dire as I was expecting. Maybe I just need to see them from a different angle!
