Some lovely peeps are injecting a bit of ‘alternative’ into RTE. While the rest of it is still wondering what a blog is, Red Radar, has a web site all set up for young ‘uns that are already in the know, but want to know more.
RR asked us to do a blog post for them on ‘trend interpretation.’ Absolutely, says we. Sure when I was in school, I hadn’t a clue how to tinker with fashion. I’d have only loved if I could get the heads up on what music to check out and how to interpret the catwalk. Not to mention check out some street style. Lads I’m only 28 but when I was in school, the internet was just about sending emails and annoying a few people in chat rooms. I had no older sister to help me along… I was doomed, as far as taste was concerned.
Well thinking about my 16 year-old self, I knocked together a post on how to try trends on for size. RR needed photos they had full permission to use. Having left it a bit late to enlist a few McGinns to model, I had to take photos of myself. Cringe, morto, scarleh, the hack of me etc
