1) Alexander Wang’s Alla Leopard Wedges from his SS 2010 collection. Totally fun. Totally fab. Totally expensive.
2 and 3) Isabel Marant’s Gava Raffia Shoes from the SS 2011 collection. Apparently she modeled the cuff on the strap surfers wear on their ankle to say attached to their boards. Such a simple idea (aren’t they always?) and the result is so glam.
4 and 5) Acne Pistol Boots. I love. I neeeed! I can’t. Sadface.
6 and 7) Isabel Marant again. This time from her AW 2010 collection. I love how chic and ‘French’ they are. These are actually quite girly for my usual taste. But I love them. I want to prance around Paris in them. PRANCE I say!
I think all of these have appeared in my Friday Flash Lust at some point. But I still love them every bit as much as when I first clocked eyes on them. It’s true love. And as a wise woman be the name of Emma Thompson once said in that schmaltzy Christmas film I watch every year… “True love lasts a life time.” Right before she got fecked over by Alan Rickman, the dirty dog.
