Not since the THE royal wedding have I seen so many column inches designated to weddings, however, this weekend was a wedding extravaganza!
First of the mark was Abby Clancy of Britains Next Top Model, something something with Janice Dickensen and unfortunately what she seems most famous for now is the allegation her new hubbie slept with a lady of the night while she was pregnant (this is unsubstatiated rumour and hopefully not true).
Now my bestie Sarah emailed me within about 38 seconds of these photos hitting the web saying it was the dress of her dreams but I don’t know it just didn’t do it for me. Without doubt Abby has a stunning figure but there is something about this dress that is too glamour for me. Just a bit too booby and a bit too tight – I also felt it was lacking a necklace or an up-do but maybe I am just too jealous of her super figure.
Next outta the gates was Kate Moss of way too many famous incidents to name however in summary discovered at age 15, engaged to Johnny Depp, engaged to Pete Doherty, AMAZING modelling career for everyone who is anyone, impressive top shop collectsions and so on……………..
I again didn’t get it. I know its Galliano (perhaps not great timing considering recent events) but this didn’t scream at me as anything special. I didn’t really love the glittery bits at the end. I think I liked the veil the best, however, she looked so happy and her band of little bridesmaids were adorable so a good day all around.
Then it was the other royal wedding which in typical Monaco style was not without its scandal as it was rumoured that Charlene had tried to do a legger not just once, or twice but three times before the wedding. This isalso not confirmed so is hopefully just the French media gone mad.
Lucky girl had Armani design for her. Similar to K-Mid she had to play it somewhat safe and go for a princessy number but I think she pulled it off with aplomb.
Finally, Ugly Betty- America Ferriera got married looking absolutely stunning. It was a private wedding with only one photo realised but I think this was my favourite wedding look of the weekend.
