Friday Flash Lust

I’ve bought three very good magazines in quick succession. The Grazia with Amy Winehouse on the cover, the September issue of Elle with Kirsten ‘I’m so kooky aren’t I?’ Dunst, and Vogue’s September issue with Freja Beha Erichsen gracing the front page. Between the three of them, I have been indulging in a big bubble bath of wanton consumerism. I can’t remember feeling this materialistic in a long time. As penance I’m going to have to do something that involves forgetting about…

This Reiss 70s inspired bronze jumpsuit:

Disco! Disco! Disco!

Not only would this be a feckin’ brilliant outfit for the Autumn/Winter party season, I feel like it would be channeling Isabel Marant to chuck a big wooly jumper over the top and wear with pointy, black high heels. That’s bringing a 70s outfit right up to date, just there!

I’m also having palpitations at the thought of never being able to own a Chanel Boy Bag. I’ve long been obsessed with Chanel’s 2.55 bag. This new incarnation has knocked it right off the pedestal…

Feck sake. I feel like need to take a shower in holy water. I’m having lusty, greedy thoughts about expensive, could-feed-a-small-country type accessories!

Rebecca on the other hand is keeping it real. She loves this paisley, totally retro tulip dress from Zara. She tried it on the other day and apparently the material is fab with a shape that is super flattering for the curvier lady. And at about 80 quid, it certainly won’t break the bank. Great choice, Becks. That tulip shape is still HAWT for A/W!

Once again, Zara is coming up trumps. This season sees them hot on the heels of the RTW shows with more glitz and glamour than you can shake a disco ball at. Becks loves this gold tunic. It’s one of a zillion shiny pieces the Spanish powerhouse has come up with this Autumn Winter.

More drooling over Zara’s A/W output to come. In the mean time, Happy Friday y’all!
