Lookie Here: Front Row Racing Commentary for Look Magazine

After a belter of a Spring/ Summer season, which had studded hotpants, feather head-dresses and tie-dye maxi’s match-fit, WWIWT look forward to the Autumn/ Winter racing-season. On the inside track we have a revival of 80′s power dressing, followed closely by a new wave of androgny. Breaking through are Doc Martens, made fashionable by rider Agnes Deyn; although they will be facing fierce competition from creepers which are being championed by the underground. The big hitters on the course this season seem to be Peter Pan collars, revved-up Chelsea boots, Bavarian opulence, knitted power jumpers and gorilla-style jackets. Bringing up the rear, but at quite a pace, we have snakeskin which seems to be making good strides across the spectrum of accessories. Galliano pulled out of the race this season, leaving the high-street open to a re-shuffle of the big players. Odds stacked at 2:1 for the Middletons to set the tone for the rest of the season. Dip-dye hair is due to retire, but put in an astonishing performance. There seems to be some mileage yet out of colour-blocking, although contenders are really going to have to up the ante if they’re to get a look-in by the top commentators. The break-through thoroughbreds for the season seems to be the Asos animal print leather jacket, the Zara tulip dress and all the top riders will have their money on the new and improved range of Lita’s.For this, and more incisive commentary, tune in to What Will I Wear Today, broadcasting live from the Look Magazine Fashion Show at Westfield Stratford City, where there will be a front-row photo-finish.Polka dots have been putting in good pace
