Holy Hells Bells, possibly the coolest label in the world – or possibly just the coolest marketing campaign in the world – the Kooples – are coming to Brown Thomas. This French label, set up by the offspring of Comptoir des Cotonniers (could sartorial lineage get any cooler?) delivers clean cuts and polished scruffiness. The people that wear the Kooples brand smoke Gitanes for breakfast, discuss Nietzsche in the deep bowels of coffee shops and generally loll around looking utterly fabulous.
The whole look – and by that, I mean the lifestyle choice – screams expensive insouciance. I mean, they have their own record label. Mon Dieu!
Just look at their advertising campaigns – mesmerizing. We’ve lusted after the Kooples before, and by God, we’ll do it again…
