Lads! You have to get yourselves down to Brown Thomas before Sunday. On the third floor, BTs are allowing some of the finest and freshest Irish fashion talent sell their wares.
Designers who have been bequeathed retail space within the hallowed halls of the Grafton Street establishment include Una Burke, Eilis Boyle, Natalie Coleman, Rachel Swan and the fabulous Emma Manley.
As of close of business on Sunday, it’ll be more difficult to get your hands on these designs, and you definitely wont have them all gathered together in the one place.
You need to take the escalator to the third floor, go to the back of the Christmas shop and up a few steps. Brown Thomas if you’re reading this, fair play for organising Irish Designers Create, but next time you really need to allow the designers more exposure rather than hiding them in with the suitcases. I knew they were there, if I didn’t, I doubt very much I would have happened upon them.
I had a great aul yak with Emma Manely today. I’m in love with her designs and had I the funds, I’d be buying her entire rail. However, for now I just have to settle for this amazing dress. It’s both edgy and hard as well as feminine and fifties. I love how it kicks out at the back. I cannot wait to take it on its first outing next week when I’m in Paris.
Seriously, get yourselves to Brown Thomas. Emma’s only there til Sunday!
Here’s the spiel:
