Raise your hand if you have a soft spot for Sarah Jessica Parker? Who couldn’t love her as the happy-go-lucky, vivacious, if slightly narcissistic, Carrie Bradshaw of the nineties? And for those who are slightly older, her first big screen debut in Hocus Pocus? Gave me nightmares for years…don’t think that was the point really but I was an easily scared child…
SJP is usually quite the snappy dresser, and is known for her off-the-wall beautiful outfits but oh gosh the horror, the HORROR of seeing the monstrosity of what she was wearing to her new film premier in Moscow. Ok so the actual dress isn’t too bad, she could usually do better, but a floor length, sheer, red cape? What was she thinking? Demented red riding hood doesn’t even do it justice. And of course she looks beautiful with hair and make-up simple but elegant but if this spurns a thousand high street copies leading to grown women dressing like children I will not be happy SJP, not happy at all.
I do expect a lot from this women so maybe I’m being a wee harsh, what does everyone else think of “The Cape”?
