Like every year, the Nautical Trend hits the stores. It is often taking up a tiny part of the store and is not considered as a major trend. But this year, things are different! The Nautical trend has sailed into high street stores gracefully and it will be a major trend this Spring/Summer. The anchor is lowered so get ready for nautical prints, sea colour palettes and feminine silhouettes. The great thing about the nautical trend is that it can be worn anyway! Whether you’re going to the beach (well if we get the weather) or whether you’re just stopping for a cold smoothie with the girls, you can sit back and relax in a pair of thin navy striped jeans, anchor print t-shirt and finish the look with a pair of white shades.

For a bolder relaxed look, match a pair of red skinnies with a navy crop top and some pumps and your ready to set sail. Ready to hit the town sailor style? Try a navy Peter Pan collar dress with a navy pin striped blazer and some high heels, if you want to get really noticed try a bright red blazer instead of a striped one!

If you’re off to the beach, there is plenty of sailor like swimwear available, from nautical prints to sailor style stripes, there is something for everyone. You can pair the swimsuit with some big bold shades and pair of nautical styled espadrilles for that holiday feeling! The sailor trend is truly alive this season so embrace it sailor style!
