Guest Post: Off the Track

Sportswear is a major trend this Spring/Summer and is definitely winning over the style stakes this season. However, it’s not your usual sportswear. No plain-jane-trackies and baggy t-shirts, no sir!  This trend is completely different. It’s full of soft pastel shades mixed with shiny metallics and it’s a major player for the coming months. Think of high tops and bomber jackets with metallic skirts and bowling bags. For the casual look go for a pair of turn up shorts with a drop tee tunic and match the look with a pair of high tops and a bowling bag. If you’re a more high-fashion sports fanatic, try a metallic vest top tucked into a pair of tapered trousers with metallic wedges to match. Not that sporty? Don’t worry, I hear you! This trend can still work great for you as there are some nice girly influences that can be tapped. For spring days, try a pair of metallic crop trousers with a lace corset top; to finish the look add some pretty little trainers and a pair of aviator sunnies. For a feminine yet sporty evening look try a metallic skirt with a bralet and a pair of platforms; finish the look with a crepe jacket and metallic clutch. And that’s how you become a major player in the fashion sporting stakes.
