Diet Coke Fashion Friday: Natalie B Coleman – we salute you!

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? Irish designer, Natalie B Coleman, featured many times before in these here pages, appears to be taking over the globe. There is nothing like the international success of homegrown talent to make you feel all warm and tingly aside.

Her first collection – All the Jewellery I NEVER Got featured an array of beautiful silk separates overlaid with giant prints of jewellery pieces. The narrative behind the collection was based on all the jewellery she’s never received – inspired, poetic and off-the-wall bonkers.
Her new collection I love me, is a bit more refined, but equally luxurious. Bejewelled knitwear and gothic layering and lots of textures – romantic and dramatic. So it’s no wonder then that the brilliant Coleman has been featured everywhere from Brazil to Tokyo. Marina and the Diamonds has been showcasing some of her pieces and there has been coverage in Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan China and Transparent Japan. We obviously love Coleman here on her home turf but the Coleman craze is being reported in the street-style of Asia, the high-end photoshoots in Dubai and in between the pages of every important fashion bible across the globe. Go Coleman!
