The Working Blazer
In search of a new work blazer
The Blazer I want:
This metallic, gold blazer with black trim from the Kooples is sheer tailoring brilliance. Beautiful cut, beautiful length and matching beautiful shorts if you are so inclined. That’s a power suit right there.
There’s a tiny hint of George Michael about it and it’s about as statement as you can get in the confines of work-wear. I am utterly in lust. If it was true love, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid spending the €355 quid on it. I would if I could but I can’t.
The Blazer I will have:
This studded blazer from Zara is deliciously dark and edgy, yet super-tailored and professional looking. It adds a hint of drama to an otherwise staid black jacket. And at a reasonable €79.99, it’s a much more realistic purchase. The studded detail at the shoulders also negates the need for a statement necklace, so that’s a further saving right there. WIN.
