Why is this news-worthy? Coz it’s ONLY SHOCKING LOOKING.

Britney Spears wearing multi-coloured hair at the iHeart Music Festival – WRONG

Dip-dye has been knocking about for some time now, with varying degrees of success. In it’s heyday, it was the club kids of London rocking the Bleach London look  - all the part-time models with a hint of pink, Pixie Geldof with a hue of blue. It was underground, edgy, dirty, messy – it was for people who couldn’t afford regular blow-drys, so they just attacked their hair with some highlighter pens, threw on some ripped denim and DIY studded vests and headed out to a 48 hour rave. When it hits the mainstream, it lacks authenticity. There’s been a few who’ve had a go and it worked out well – Kate Bosworth (natch…even though she was a wee bit late to the party) and Nicola Roberts has been WORKIN’ it on Styled to Rock with a messy top-knot of baby pink curls.
