A Lust a week keeps the Recession at, er, bay… Well, with Forbidden Fruits kickstarting the party season this weekend, we here at WWIWT have all got a serious dose of festival fever! And with the GARGEOUS weather supposing to be staying around for awhile, we can finally lust after things other than Hunter wellies, and mahoosive rain ponchos! [...]

Do you think if we all wore colour pop for the next eight weeks, it would brighten up the Irish summer, and knock the temperatures up a few degrees to hit the twenties? I think, now that we’ve officially started the second month of summer 2011, to an overcast sky, it’s worth an attempt. Laydiees-get [...]

I alwasy quite liked Diana Vickers on X factor even though she was the Katie Waissel of her year. A good few people told me I reminded them of her which I thought meant I had a nasel voice and strange hand gestures but in fact they meant our mutual penchant for big hair [...]

Hey Ho its Lusting Time

SO peeps, another week, another lust and below is what us at WWIWT have been salivating over – what have you lovely readers got yer eye on this week eh? Rebecca is ALL OVER the Topshop bag collection right now and would love any of the following for the summer. The fact that worldwide shipping [...]

So I think I want a fur gilet….

So I picked up a pair of light brown suede, high-waisted shorts at the weekend and a coral, loose-fitting, ruffle blouse… To add, I’m just about coming to terms with shopping in Sydney and dealing with the loss of my ‘go to’ stores of TopShop, River Island, Awear, Urban Outfiters, New Look and of course [...]

Its Friday, we feeling summery and our lust is here. Jennie is getting in the summer vibe by lusting after the entire we are handsome swimsuit collection

Friday Flash Lust: Lustacular

What you lusting after? G’waaaan, tell us…we don’t bite. Rachel really wants this cute boyfriend shirt from Asos or this sweet little lemon number from River Island. Cutesy, Springy and Whimsical. However, she did reveal her naughty little secret in an earlier post – why buy high-street when you can buy the real thing down [...]

Well its Friday – so its time for some items of luxury or irrelevance that we are all DYING to get our hands on.

Cause you and I know its all over the front page – January gives me sale rage

A very real conundrum

Not to sound glib, but we’re in a right dilly of a pickle. The country is submerged in an icy battleground and the future of the Irish state is in the hands of IMF. Fiscal conservatism is the name of the game and arctic survivalism is our new reference point. Spend less, layer more. I [...]

Nananananananananana friday, Friday, FRIDAY As you can see I am excited for the weekend and the best way to start the weekend is with a little fashion lust.

All camelled out of it

SOOOOOOOO is anyone else a bit camelled out of it?  Everywhere you go, every store you frequent there is an array of beige coats, macs and jackets bearing down on you. Now don’t get me wrong.  As a “young professional” a smart camel/black coat is a must have. However, if everyone is wearing a camel [...]

So a huge posse of the WWIWT girlies descended on the 25th Anniversary A-wear party last night.

The long anticipated shoe range from A|wear has finally landed in store, currently they are in six selected stores across the country at the mo and online at www.awear.com. I was in the Grafton street store today and had myself a little mooch! By no means groundbreaking, but a good price range and there are a few finds in there… Prices range from €45 for ballet pumps and go up for €149 for leather boots.

Asos Black – pure, unadulterated, decadence all round. Frills and swills and diamonds and ruffles and leather and chiffon and sugar and spice and all things nice. Jennie and Rebecca want it ALL. No discrimination whatsoever. Other than the fact that Rebecca really, really, really, really, really, really, really wants the diamonté headpiece and Jennie [...]

There is a new wave of skirts taking the high street by storm… The new skirt is all about longer lengths, from fuller 50’s inspired mid calf skirts to my favourite, tighter tube style high waisted mid length styles and off course the maxi skirt. Sure, there is nothing like popping on a micro mini [...]

The Dublin Festival of Fashion takes place this weekend and is offering up an array of tasty treats for the fashion hungry of Dublin. You’ll have live catwalk shows on Grafton and Henry street, make-up masterclasses, pop-up stores, a model flash mob and cafés offering fashion menus (would that be lettuce only then?) There [...]

Everyone loves a good party dress no?  My favourite was when I was seven. It had a thick black taffeta skirt and a beautiful red top with polka dots and a sash. I accessorised it with black Start-Rite patent mary janes and white ankle socks. It was a stylistic masterpiece and I must produce a [...]

Follow my blog with bloglovin Put some focking CLOTHES ON!

My wardrobe looks like a circus exploded in it. I am subjected to wearing suits and formal work clothes Monday to Friday, so in my own time my maxim is the brighter the better. My staples are coloured dresses, sequins and anything else shiny. However, this winter, as I wander the High Street (which is [...]
