So Jennie, Sarah and Aideen ambled into RTE yesterday to film some short videos for the recently launched RED Radar website. The site is aimed at the youf’ audience and taps into all that is alternative in Irish music, style and fashion. Rather. We each did a piece about what we were wearing (clothes, should [...]
So, got my wardrobe snapped for U magazine – my wardrobe in 10 days. I do like a good hip-pose as you can see. I actually DETEST having my picture taken. I just can’t explain the fear (and confusion and stress and awkwardness) that descends upon mention of having a snap taken, (act natural, ACT [...]
So here are the photos from our shoot with RTE Off The Rails a few weeks ago. The theme was Urban, Gritty, and Grungey Black Swan (yes…we’re THAT hardcore!). It was all ballet skirts, fluffy tulle and feminine silks, toughened up with BLACK BLACK leather, chains, studs and Chunky Chunky shoesies. The make-up was sweeping [...]

Can’t believe how I only got wind of this at such short notice. Two things I really, really, really love: Tea (oh wondrous, nurturing, beautiful tea) and Nails. Not just the ‘aul bit at the end of your fingers; rather the limitless possibilities of nail varnish and nail art. To complement an outfit, to clash with an outfit, to make a statement, to express a mood. Nail art is the cheapest, easiest, safest way to experiment.
I don’t have many heroes as I don’t believe in idolising people. It’s really only a set of arbitrary events that merge to create somebody special…it could easily be you or me or Mary down the caf right? Given the right education, stage school or access to nepotism, anyone can make it. Not so…when you [...]
